Save Jones State Forest was formed in 2017 by a group of community members who came together in an effort to protect the forest. We were not lobbyist or politicians. We were not attorneys or policy wonks. We were everyday people who believed the community should have a voice in the decisions that impact our daily lives. We believed our representatives should represent us and far away entities should not be able to use their money and influence to act unilaterally.
